متن سوره

By the heaven, and by the nightly visitor ١ (and what will show you what is the nightly visitor? ٢ It is the brilliant star): ٣ there is a guard over every soul. ٤ So let man consider from what he was created. ٥ He was created from an effusing fluid ٦ which issues from between the loins and the breast-bones. ٧ Indeed He is able to bring him back [after death], ٨ on the day when the secrets are examined ٩ and he shall have neither power nor helper. ١٠ By the resurgent heaven, ١١ and by the furrowed earth: ١٢ it is indeed a conclusive discourse, ١٣ and not a jest. ١٤ Indeed they are devising a stratagem, ١٥ and I [too] am devising a plan. ١٦ So respite the faithless; give them a gentle respite. ١٧
