«العلق»

متن سوره

Read in the Name of your Lord who created; ١ created man from a clinging mass. ٢ Read, and your Lord is the most generous, ٣ who taught by the pen, ٤ taught man what he did not know. ٥ Indeed man becomes rebellious ٦ when he considers himself without need. ٧ Indeed to your Lord is the return. ٨ Tell me, he who forbids ٩ a servant when he prays, ١٠ tell me, should he be on [true] guidance, ١١ or bid [others] to Godwariness, ١٢ tell me, should he call him a liar and turn away ١٣ —does he not know that Allah sees [him]? ١٤ No indeed! If he does not cease, We shall seize him by the forelock, ١٥ a lying, sinful forelock! ١٦ Then let him call out his gang! ١٧ We [too] shall call the keepers of hell. ١٨ No indeed! Do not obey him, but prostrate and draw near [to Allah]! ١٩
